Andrea Iannuzzi, é nato e cresciuto a Roma, dove ha studiato un'ampia varietà di tecniche artistiche tradizionali, quali pittura, scultura e stampa artistica, così come fotografia e tecniche video. Ad esse unisce un forte interesse per la storia dell’arte e l’antropologia.
Lavora primariamente tramite il disegno e la pittura, unendo metodi e materiali tradizionali e contemporanei.
Risiede attualmente a Glasgow, dove ha studiato linguaggi artistici contemporanei e dove continua la sua pratica delle belle arti, così come della fotografia e dell’illustrazione, sotto diversi pseudonimi.
Ha esposto opere tra Europa e Stati Uniti e sta attualmente sviluppando e svolgendo una serie di laboratori e corsi, volti ad introdurre gli artisti contemporanei alle tecniche e agli strumenti della tradizione, seguendo la consuetudine delle Scuole d’Arte Italiane e delle botteghe d’artista del Rinascimento.
Andrea Iannuzzi was born and raised in Rome, where he studied a wide range of traditional art techniques, such as painting, sculpture and printmaking, as well as photography and videomaking. Paired to them is a keen interest in art history and anthropology,
He works primarily through drawing and painting, merging traditional and contemporary methods and materials,
He is currently based in Glasgow, where he studied contemporary art practices, and where he continues practicing fine arts, as well as photography and illustration, under different pseudonyms.
He has exhibited works across Europe and the US, and he is currently hosting and developing a series of workshops and courses to introduce contemporary artists to the techniques and tools of the tradition, following the model of Italian Art Schools and Renaissance artist’s studios.
